The aim of the graduate school is to accompany and support young scholars in their research and teaching in the field of Jewish Studies. Apart from the possibility of cross-linking, the graduate school offers room for theme-specific work groups, the conception and organization of conventions, conferences and workshops as well as regular offers of further qualification.
The graduate school of the Selma Stern Center currently supports 9 doctoral and 5 post-doctoral candidates who receive federal funding. In addition to this, further young scholars have joined the graduate school as associated members of the ZJS. If you are interested in associating with the ZJS, you can do so here.
